  1. There are many things that can be proven in science, but there are many things that can be proved by experience, and then there are some things that can only be proved by trusting Heavenly Father. When you know Heavenly Father and Jesus know your name and know where you are and what you are doing then you can lean on them to trust that they will guide you and life. I is like Elder Worthlin's mother said "It will all work out." I have tried to always be organized and have everything prepared in advance. I have always calendar and know when things were going on. Yet there are times in my life that I have had to totally trust Heavenly Father like when you kids had to leave me in the hospital in San Antonio. Remember when Dad was diagnosed with Cancer in Taiwan, we had to trust the doctors to operate and then the mission department to send us back. Now I think we are leaning to leaving Mariah here while we go to Salt Lake on a mission. That scares me because I was planning on taking her. But to keep her programs and services and doctors it looks like we will have to leave her again. As we fast and pray about that this Sunday I know we will all get the same answer and we will all know what to do. I am assured that it will all work out. Heavenly Father loves Mariah, and he will not let anything bad happen to her. We will h ave to trust him that he will give us the answer and that we know she will be taken care of. Heavenly Father know the end from the beginning and he will make everything right if we have faith enough in him to follow what he says. When we do it is always the best and we always grow closer to him.

  2. The world tells us to trust in nothing that we can't see or do for ourselves. That is just the opposite of the way the Lord does things. He asks and expects us to have faith in Him and His Son because we are His children. Little children trust their parents and rely on them for everything. Their parents are the ones who save, provide and protect them. Heavenly Father does the same for us, but only if we let Him and trust in Him. I need to trust Him more. As I've gotten to be a parent myself, I find myself trusting Him more with the children He blessed me with, especially since they are about to leave our home and start out on lives of their own. I want so badly for them to get all the blessings and protection He can provide for them. I have to trust that He will do that for them.

  3. I want to do this now so I don't forget to do it later and I like this scripture a lot and we need to put our trust in him and do all we can in his ways . I hope you know that I had to put a lot of trust when I had my surgery a few months ago and it was a answer to my prayers too. Have a great Sunday today and happy fasting for me today too !
    Merry Christmas to all !

  4. Is trust measureable? I think so. We see all around us examples of those who trust. Some trust only in themselves. Some trust in leaders of church, government, or military. And some only trust until the first strong wind of opposition blows. But these words from Alma remind us of the one sure focus that will always produce positive results from our trust - the Savior.

If our trust is rooted in Him then the earthly trust we place in other people and things will be guided by Him. And what will the end result be? We will succeed, or in the words of Alma, "lifted up at the last day."

Take a look around at those who have been lifted up. Their trust is measureable.
