  1. Gratitude is a commandment. I know someone who always expresses thanks for what you do for her. That person is Mariah. She has to depend on people to help her do so many things, but she is always grateful. Developing an attitude of Gratitude is a life long pursuit. Heavenly Father gives us so much and he asks us so little in return. Then if we are grateful he promises to give us all he has. It sounds like we are getting the best of the bargain. We need to take time and count our many blessings each day.

  2. So much meaning in just a few short words. This past week as I pondered all of the things I've been given I was again filled with gratitude for a loving Heavenly Father that just continues to give. Sometimes I think my lot is hard, but then if I stop and reflect on just what I have been given I realize my life is filled to overflowing with blessings unmeasurable. Not only does His truth endure to all generations, but so do his blessings to those that acknowledge His hand in all things.

  3. If we truly come to understand and appreciate our relationship with Heavenly Father and His Son, we can't help but feel gratitude. Everything created on this earth and everything the Savior did was for us so that we could exist, learn, and return. I've been trying to take time this past week to be more grateful for specific blessings in my life, not just the surface blessings that we usually repeat in our daily prayers. If the Lord knows me enough to bless me with specifically what I need, then the least I can do is show my appreciation by noticing and then thanking Him for it.

  4. I want to do this before I forget but I have so much to be thankful for this year and especially as I have had my surgery now and that I have two brand new knees and I am walking a lot better and I am getting stronger each and every day too. I owe it all to my Heavenly Father and he has blessed with great doctor and nurses that take good care of me too. I owe it to the priesthood because the blessing that dad and the bishop gave me really helped me out so much and it gave me the reassurance that I would be in good hands too. I love my family so much and for all the prayers and thoughts you guys offered in my behalf too. I love this time of the year too !
Those are my thoughts this week ! Love Mariah 🍊
