Well this is a first for me and I want to be the first to comment on this scripture this week and it talks about having faith and I have been having to excerise my faith a lot while I was having my surgery and now that I am recovering I am healing fast too and physical therapy to helping my muscles get stronger each and every day too. I owe it all to my Heavenly Father and my family and the priesthood blessing that I got from day and bishop Allen too. Those are my comments this week ! Have a great Sunday tomorrow !
This reminder by Paul to the Hebrews serves to remind me also that Christ is the center of our faith and our religion. Heavenly Father put into play this great plan whereby we could all become like him if we chose to do so. But it would take His perfect Son to put all the parts in place. And it was His atoning sacrifice that was the finishing piece of this great plan. Though He were a God, He suffered the shame, agony, and humiliation of the cross that we might have the means of returning to our Father also.
In preach my gospel Jeffery R Holland said "In our gospel it is the Celestial kingdom or nothing." We need not be content to almost follow the Savior. He has asked us to follow him, not just on some things but on all things. When we do we are happy and we will be with those who are on Heavenly Father's right hand at judgement.
