  1. I have marveled at the coming spring here in Salt Lake. As we got here the daffodils we just coming up and so were the crocus. The trees were still in bud. Now as we walk to the office everything is so beautiful. The flowers are all reaching for the light. The trees look like there has been an explosion of pop corn. The bushes smell wonderful as we walk by. Yet each flower is unique. There are no two a lilke. WE have a loving heavenly father who makes each one of his creations special and magnificent. We are blessed to live in a beautiful world. I can't even imagine what heaven is like.

  2. God's creations are indeed marvelous. That includes the plants, animals, mountains, deserts, rivers, oceans, and people. I've seen some amazing things in my life time. It includes all that I have mentioned. Most marvelous however, are God's children. I have seen what happens when one turns his life over to God. He can make so much more of us than we can make of ourselves. I look at myself and see the examples of what Heavenly Father has made when I let him guide me and the failures when I insisted on doing it my way. I see my children and what God has made of each of them. No doubt, the things God hath wrought are marvelous!

  3. I have been marveling at the talks of conference. It always amazes me how certain parts of talks, or even entire talks are meant just for me. It's magical- but not really, because that is how the spirit works.

Another thing I thought of this week is along the lines of what Elder Rasband talked about in his talk about the Holy Ghost. I like how he said we need to act on promptongs the first time they come. I've been trying to do that more lately, especially with my seminary class as I see their participation dwindlin as we near the end. I've had some cool experiences where the Lord has prompted me to do something small but it made a difference to that particular student or was something they needed. I marvel that He used me to help some of His precious children. Just more proof that no one goes unnoticed or forgotten.

  4. The things God has wrought are indeed marvelous. Perhaps the most marvelous experiences are the ones that transform us. This past year has been a marvelous experience to behold the Lord in the details of our life. This past weekend marks 6 months since the passing of Steve Christensen. Amid all the sorrow we have found the marvelous peace of the gift ans sure knowledge of the resurrection. Soon after we were faced with Gary's accident, but again beheld the marvelous tender mercy of the Lord in not only sparing his life, but leaving no life altering injuries. Then a few months later finding out my seminary department for the deaf would be closing, but the marvelous peace was given again that all would be well. These are the days of marvelous miracles that bring us to our knees in trials or blessings, pain or joy, sorrow or hope. Marvelous times indeed.
