  1. I know I am ahead of the game but I am sorry that I have been not doing this while we have been gone on the cruise but I am going to start doing it now and I like this scripture where it talks about have faith and we need to have faith in our life's and excerise it too. Those are my comments this week .

  2. This scripture has been on my mind a great deal this week because I've had a ton of work to do for work, seminary, and school. It never ends and I just keep plugging along. It's depressing to work so hard at something and then never feel like you accomplish anything.

This scripture gives me a bit of hope because it states that the Lord is aware of idleness (those not working). Even if I don't feel like I'm making progress, the Lord notices me trying. That brings me to another conclusion: Those that are working are progressing while those that are idle are standing still.

Here's another question I've been thinking of with this scripture: "The work of the Lord will always be moving forward. What am I doing to help His work?"

  4. I guess the Lord remembers who does not work. He rewards the workers with blessings. We may not see them right a way but I know we will be blessed. We repeat this as missionaries. One of the greatest secrets of missionary work is work, If a missionary works he will get the spirit. If he gets the spirit he will teach by the spirit. If he teaches by the spirit he will touch the hearts of the people and he will be happy. There will be no homesickness, no worrying about families, for all time talents and interests are centered in Missionary work. That the secret Work - Work - Work.

  5. There is work enough to do.... And it seems like there is always more than enough to do. Even though the Garden of Eden was a place of beauty and all the fruits (except one) were provided freely, He still commanded Adam and Eve to "dress this garden." We only earn our fruit by work. We work in society to provide for our families and self. We work at church to provide for the good of all. There really is no time idleness; rest, yes, but not idleness. God is ever mindful of how we are using the time given us.
