  1. If there is anything I've learned, its that you have to do and keep doing the things that bring and keep the spirit. I need the protection, inspirations, revelations, and promptings that come from the Holy Ghost. I can't just expect it to be there because I have felt it in the past. Now that I am released from teaching seminary, I will have to work harder to keep up with those things since I won't be automatically doing that as part of my calling each day anymore. I don't think I can afford to be without it!

  2. I want to do this before I forget this talk was one of my favorites and I felt the spirit from this one and it touched my spirit so much. We all need to listen to the Holy Ghost in our own lifes to do the right things in our life's. Those are my thoughts for this week. Have a great weekend everyone !!!!! From Mariah

  3. This talk was my favorite from conference. I really want to have the promptings and the comfort of the Holy Ghost. It comes by righteous living, and obeying the commandments. It comes when we feel and act on the promptings. Elder Scott says when we act quickly Heavenly Father knows he can trust us so he sends us more promptings. It comes when we are worried about things. I love that sweet comforting feeling you get that you know Heavenly Father is in charge and everything will work out. It comes when we get sudden bursts of inspiration, or we remember something that is the exact thing we should do. It comes to warn us from Danger. It comes to give us to grow in certain areas and stretch ourselves. The we know even though it is hard it is what we need to do. It also comes when we have made a choice and that sweet feeling comes to let you know you made the right choice. How blessed we are that we have the Holy Ghost and use it everyday. WE have the opportunity to have one of the members of the Godhead to be with us at all times, no wonder we need to live worthy of that. When we don't the spirit withdraws because it can not look upon sin with the lease bit of allowance. I want to be a first responder and be known as someone who lives by the spirit and is an answer to someones prayers because I listened and acted on promptings from the Holy Ghost.

  4. First Responders save lives! As Elder Rasband points out this is true spiritually as well or temporally. I've not always been a first responder. I'm trying to do better, but still need to work on this. I cringe to think of the spiritual deaths and injury that have been caused by my lack of response. The Spirit is always ready to assist. We are the only barrier to preventing his help.
